Robert Fyvolent

Robert Fyvolent attended law school at South Texas College of Law in Houston and Loyola University School of Law in Los Angeles. Prior to completing law school, Robert completed New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Intensive Film Workshop, a graduate film school program. Robert spent five years working as an attorney for The Walt Disney Company and another five years at Sony’s Screen Gems, where he acted as Assistant General Counsel. Robert worked for 11 years at Newmarket Films where, as the Head of Business and Legal Affairs, helped build a library of over 250 films. Newmarket Films was the independent production and theatrical distribution company responsible for the distribution of such films as Memento, Donnie Darko, The Passion of The Christ, Whale Rider, Monster, The Prestige and Boondock Saints. Robert is currently a solo entertainment law practitioner with a broad range of entertainment industry clients; current corporate clients include Pantelion Entertainment, a joint venture formed in association with Lionsgate Entertainment, and North of Two, an independent film production and distribution company. His work has involved all aspects of film and television production, acquisition, financing and distribution as well as the representation of writers, producers and other talent.
